Training Programme
Myanmar is a beneficiary of training programmes under ITEC, TCS of Colombo Plan, GCSS and MGCSS schemes.Utilization of these training slots by Myanmar has been excellent. Following this, Prime Minister during his State visit to Myanmar in May 2012, has announced to enhance the slots from 250 to 500 every year from Myanmar.
“ India-Myanmar Trade Through Land Border : Opportunities and Challenges”
The Consulate General of India, Mandalay, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Kolkata and Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry are conducting a seminar on July 25th 2014 at Amarapura Ballroom, Hotel Sedona from 14:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs.
The seminar will provide an opportunity to know about business opportunities , the existing tariff regime, business procedures, banking channels and other subjects related to India-Myanmar trade. A catalog exhibition of Indian Companies will also be held during the seminar.
