74th Independence Day Celebrations at CGI, Mandalay
Consul General Nandan Singh Bhaisora paid a farewell courtesy call on H. E. U Min Thein, DG (Protocol), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, GoM in Nay Pyi Taw and thanked for the support to the Consulate.
Consul General Mr. Nandan Singh Bhaisora presenting book on Mahatma Gandhi to H. E. Bhim K. Udhas, Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar during breakfast (meeting) hosted by him at Hilton, Mandalay. Important discussion on various issues took place including India-Nepal-Myanmar Relations, tourism, health care, education sectors, continuous efforts for unity among various communities, language, culture, trade, outreach Programme etc.
Paid a farewell courtesy call on H. E. Dr. Myint Naing, Chief Minister of Sagaing Region, 7 Ministers being present. CM hosted a farewell lunch. Discussed various connectivity projects-Kalewa-Yargyi, 69 Bridges, ICP, Tamu, Lahe Project, Industrial Training Centre , Monywa, Coordinated Bus Service, Projects in Naga Self Admn. Zone, proposal for Drainage system, men football team and cultural troupes to be sent to Manipur, ITEC and ICCR Scholarships. CM and all Ministers spoke highly about the Consulate's role in strengthening Bilateral relations in various fields in last 3 years.
CG paying a farewell courtesy call on the Acting Chief Minister and other 7 Ministers, Attorney General & Secretary . Each one of them spoke highly about the relationship with Mandalay Region Government as well as people of Myanmar and innumerable events in culture, business, education etc.
Signing of MoU Ceremony for Coordinated Bus Service between Mandalay and Imphal By M/s Shwe Mandalar, Yangon and M/s Seven Sisters Holidays, Imphal in the Consulate. The commencement date will be within 90 days. Another landmark in our Bilateral Relations. Will enhance people to people contacts.
Friendly Football Match between Manipur Team and Mandalay Region Team played on 30th January, 2020 at Pyin Oo Lwin. Friendly Match won by Mandalay Team by 4-0.
Consul General Mr. Nandan Singh Bhaisora along with officials of Ministry of Health and Sports as well as Mandalay Region Sports Department, welcoming Manipur Women Football Team at Sagaing Bridge. Friendly matches in Pyin Oo Lwin on 30th January and Monywa on 2nd February.
Republic Day of India Flag Hoisting Ceremony in Mandalay attended by more than 450 people from various towns of Upper Myanmar including Taunggyi, Mogok, Chauk, Kyaukse, Pyin Oo Lwin, Salin, Magway, Monywa, Pakokku, as well as ASI Team, Patron, NLD, Director (Sports) etc being present, followed by cultural programme.
Republic Day of India 2020 Celebrations in Mandalay at The Palace by Golden Duck. Chief Guest - Acting Chief Minister of Mandalay Region. Speaker, Chief Justice, the entire cabinet of Mandalay Region, Deputy Speaker, Mandalay, Deputy Commandant, Central Command, and Deputy Speaker as well as Minister and Secretary from Sagaing Region, Acting CG of China, President, MRCCI being present among dignitaries. Attended by more than 350 guests. Cultural programme by the students of National University of Arts and Culture, Mandalay.
Consul General Mr.Nandan Singh Bhaisora and Madam Rashmi Bhaisora with H. E. U Aung Kyaw Oo, Speaker, Mandalay Region Parliament and Madam, during the Ceremony of Pouring Drops of Water for Aung Tan Thar Yatana Monastery Building where Yoga Training Centre, Sanskrit Learning Centre and English Learning Centre is being opened to bring the people of India and Myanmar closer, enhance people to people contacts, also maintain the rich cultural heritage of India and giving better knowledge of English to Myanmar youth.
